Aspiring health professionals have a unique opportunity to jumpstart their careers through exclusive partnerships with two of Florida's leading osteopathic institutions: the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM) and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM).
OCOM Guaranteed Interview Program
FSC’s articulation agreement with the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM) provides Pre-Medical students with a Guaranteed Interview for possible admission to OCOM. This opportunity is available to any qualified FSC student or alumnus who meets the following criteria:
- Follows a distinct academic protocol.
- Demonstrates high academic achievement and success in their pre-medical coursework.
The Guaranteed Interview Program reflects the exceptional rigor and quality of FSC’s Pre-Medical curriculum, offering a pathway for high-performing graduates to advance in the admissions process at OCOM.
LECOM Early Acceptance Program (EAP)
FSC also maintains a well-established Early Acceptance Program (EAP) with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM). This program is open to students pursuing Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental, Pre-Pharmacy, or Pre-Podiatry tracks. LECOM’s campuses are located nationwide, including one in Bradenton, Florida.
Key features of the LECOM EAP:
- Provisional Acceptance: Qualified students receive a reserved seat in one of LECOM’s professional schools upon successful completion of the program and a successful interview.
- Application Timing: Students can apply to the EAP as early as their senior year of high school or up until the start of their third undergraduate year, depending on the desired program and track.

Admission Requirements
First-Years
All freshman applicants to Florida Southern Colleges full-time degree programs must submit the following information:
- A completed application form
- An official high school transcript
- SAT and/or ACT scores (unless applying Test-Optional)
- Academic recommendation
Transfers
Applying to Florida Southern as a transfer student is easy.
- A completed application form
- Personal statement
- All official college transcripts
- Social standing form
If transferring less than 24 credits, we also need your:
- Official high school transcript
- SAT and/or ACT scores
