Goldwater Fellowship
Who can apply: Sophomore and junior science, technology, engineering or math students with a high GPA and research experience who plan on going into research careers.
Description: A scholarship designed to assist outstanding undergraduate students in STEM fields who intend to pursue a research career. Scholarship pays up to $7500 a year in tuition and expenses.
Deadline: In early January
Davies-Jackson Fellowship
Who can apply: Graduating seniors interested in graduate work in classics, economics, English, geography, history, human, social and political sciences, modern and medieval languages, music, philosophy, psychological and behavioral science. Must be a first-generation college students on both sides of family.
Description: Scholarship pays for two academic years (room, board and fees) of graduate study at St. John’s College, Cambridge University (UK).

Who can apply: Graduating seniors applying to graduate school who need to learn languages of interest for national security purposes.
Description: up to $24000 for overseas study.
