Poets & Quants Ranks Barnett School as a Top Undergraduate Business Program
Mar 6, 2019
In an online ranking of the best undergraduate business schools prepared by the Poets & Quants website, Florida Southern’s Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise has been listed among top undergraduate schools in the nation. Only one other business program in Florida is included in this prestigious ranking, which was released in December 2018.
The mission of Poets & Quants, a news website that focuses specifically on business schools, is to help serious applicants make the best possible choice for their business education. Billing itself as “the only must-read business school website,” P&Q has become the leading online publication for undergraduate business education news. This is the website’s third annual comprehensive analysis and ranking of the best undergraduate business programs.
“This was our first attempt to get ranked by Poets & Quants, a reputable ranking source,” said Dr. James W. Fenton, Jr., dean of the Barnett School. “In the future, as we continuously improve our undergraduate program, we plan to continuously climb the P&Q ranking ladder.”
Dr. Fenton credited many members of the FSC faculty and staff for their assistance in landing a spot in the P&Q ranking of top undergraduate business schools. Those efforts, led by Professor Bernard Davis, included individuals both in the Barnett School and throughout the FSC campus.
