Corie Cross, MSN, RN
Nursing Simulation Educator and Instructor of Nursing

I can wholeheartedly say that being an educator is one of the most gratifying professional roles. I have never forgotten the obstacles I experienced as a student and the sense of accomplishment in overcoming and achieving what often seemed like an unachievable dream. Reflecting and incorporating lessons learned throughout my career and educational journey have given me a greater ability to empathize with and understand students while encouraging them on their path to being professional and successful nurses.
Biography
Most of my career has been spent in various areas of nursing practice, nursing leadership, and nursing education. Throughout this time, I have gained expansive knowledge and experience as an Emergency Department nurse and leader with an appreciation for both operational and educational aspects of nursing and leadership. Having been in adjunct instructor roles for many years, I have learned that Florida Southern College is a special place. I am excited to further contribute to the advancement and growth of our future nursing professionals.
